Altema

Altema is a distributor of metal products for building envelope and smoke evacuation systems. Historically a family company, it was the subject of an MBI by a financial investor in 2011 alongside a manager well-known to Chequers.

Chequers acquired a 100% share in Hild togther with its management team in a secondary LBO, aimed at launching a new development phase.

Value creation

Value creation is built around an ambitious organic growth plan based on the introduction of new products and the development of Hild's distribution network on a national scale. In addition, further value could be added by one or more structuring external growth deals in France and Belgium, which could generate significant purchasing and commercial synergies.
